Southern Passage
How we follow Nature
Every autumn, something ancient begins to happen.
The birds know. The monarchs know. The snowbirds definitely know.
When winter comes, you go south.
Southern Passage is our migration—a Sacred Sisters Journey following the changing season south toward warmer air, open water and the Gulf of Mexico.
We begin as autumn gives way to winter and follow the great Mississippi south, through music and history, toward New Orleans and eventually the Texas coast. With every mile, the air grows warmer, the landscape changes, and winter falls farther behind us.
Yes, we're fleeing winter.
But somewhere along the road, migration becomes more than changing latitude.
Because whenever we leave one season behind and move toward another, there's an opportunity to wonder:
What else am I ready to leave behind?
What am I carrying with me?
What am I moving toward?
